So far I've created a Facebook page, registered us as an artist on LastFM and set up a WordPress site (it was actually a uni project so whether or not we'll actually use it is another matter).
I was actually pleasantly surprised with the new look Facebook band pages in terms of what you can do with it. It's much simpler to use and isn't full of crap as they used to be.
Anyway, will I register a Bandcamp or SoundCloud as well?
I deleted the TT Twitter, but I've been thinking. Regardless of our personal opinions on Facebook, Twitter or whatever, really we're alienating potential fans by not setting up as many sites as we can. Sure, it's a pain in the arse having to look after them all and update them but it's the best option to promote ourselves online.

I'd argue that the sort of people we'll get as fans won't be using Twatter. BUT. So long as, in all seriousness, there isn't any "Hai Guiz" sort of posting on these mediums I'm fine with having as many as you like.
